Hello, Happy New Year to you all.

I had a great Christmas, I went to stop with Sarah and family in Bucks, isn't it lovely having little ones around at this time of the year. The joy at watching my grandson open his presents, it brought tears to my eyes.
Now I am back home and trying to sort myself out in the new year.
I have made a few cards, but nothing really worth putting on here, but I am trying.

Hello there, long time no see :) I started this card off about 6am one morning last week and finished it off at 11pm last night ! As you can see, my mojo hasn't fully returned.

Hello there, long time no see.

I just haven't been in the mood these past few months. But this morning, with nothing to do and nowhere to go I thought I would try and make a card.

Anyway, this is what I came up with.

My grandaugher Hannah will be three in May, and as it takes me ages to make cards these days I thought I would get it made early.

She loves anything pink and she loves butterflies, so I thought this easel card would fit the bill.

Green Fairy

I haven't been able to make cards much since September but I am trying to get back into it.

I recently bought three Lily of the Valley stamps. Now usually I aren't one for fairies but these ones I just had to have.

This is what I call my green fairy, lol for obvious reasons.

John has been in hospital for four weeks now and as of yet so sign of him coming out. He has been very poorly this time and isn't out of the woods yet.

I made this card for a challenge, but when I had finished it I realised it should have been in pink and green lol never mind, at least it made me make a card.

Its for the Karens Doodles challenge and it had to have a tag on it.

I have used this image so many times, I love it.

I have used an SU roller stamp to stamp the background and am quite pleased with how it came out.

I got the template for these off a friend who got it off another friend, but I promise when I find out her name I will put it on here for her to get the credit for it.

I made two blue and one pink, one for each of the grandchildren.

There is a small box at the front which I am going to fill up with small Easter eggs.

Although I was given the template I decorated it myself, and I must say it took longer to put everything on than it did to make the box lol

I have made my first side step card. The card itself was quick to make, but it took me ages to decide what to do with it.

In the end I decided on the Stampin Up Butterflies stamps and punch.

I thought I would have a go at an easel card, they aren't hard are they?

All I used though was some SU card and SU paper.

I cut out an extra couple of flowers from the paper and then decoupaged them onto the card.

So no other decoration, just card and paper lol

I am going to enter it on the Digital Tuesday challenge.

I made this card for a challenge on the Cuddly Buddly forum.

We were given the sketch to go by and had to use an image off the forum, but Kim has just brought out some lovely new stamps so it wasn't hard to choose one.

I decided to try parchment craft, it seems to take a long time though to do a little bit, so I can't see me doing these cards all the time, though I do enjoy doing them.

I made this card really for a laugh. I entered a challenge and it was called "warm and cozy".

I printed out and coloured the fireplace, then found the graphic of the man in the chair, then stuck foam pads behind him to raise him from the card.

I still smile when I look at it though, as really it was just me messing about lol

After being in hospital for seven weeks John is due home today, so I am anxiously waiting for a phone call.

Yesterday I went to a local craft fayre and saw this stamp and just had to have it.

I think it needs a bit of glitter though here on there on the bobbles on the tree, what do you think?

I didn't know how to colour this Peacock. I first used Promarkers, but then a friend of mine said it needed something else! So I got my glue pen and some glitter and went over where I had coloured. The glitter doesn't show up very much on here, but it does on the real thing.

The papers and flower were off a good friend of mine and the image was off another good friend, so I am hoping I have put them together okay.

I have been wanting to get away from my usual sort of card. I call mine plain and simple, but have been wanting to try something with a bit more on.

I have made one glitter card for Christmas and this is the second one I have made.

The stamp is from Lili Of The Valley.

I coloured it with Pro Markers, but just had to add a little bit of glitter lol

I did the embossing for this card on the Majestic board. You will see I use this quite a lot.

I then added some decoupage to the front.
